Privacy Policy & Terms of Use
Last updated: February 17, 2026
1. Introduction
Welcome to H-Synth ("the Platform"). H-Synth is a workflow analysis platform for human-autonomy teaming research. This document describes how we collect, use, and protect your information, and the terms under which you may use the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in via a third-party provider (e.g., Google), we receive your name and email from that provider.
2.2 Organization Data
Data you upload or create within the Platform — including documents, workflows, process models, experiment configurations, survey responses, and agent configurations — is stored in your organization's workspace.
2.3 Usage Data
We collect standard usage data such as page views, feature usage, and error logs to improve the Platform. This data is not sold to third parties.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Platform
- To authenticate your identity and manage access control
- To process AI-assisted workflow extraction and analysis
- To distribute surveys and collect responses for experiments you configure
- To improve Platform performance and reliability
- To communicate service updates and security notices
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in secure, encrypted databases with row-level security (RLS) ensuring organization-level isolation. API keys and credentials are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We follow industry-standard security practices including secure session management, input validation, and access control.
5. AI Processing
The Platform uses AI models (including Google Gemini) to extract workflows from documents and assist with analysis. Documents you upload may be sent to third-party AI providers for processing. AI-generated outputs are validated before storage. We do not use your data to train AI models.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Third-party authentication providers (for sign-in only)
- AI service providers (for document processing, subject to their privacy policies)
- Email delivery services (for survey distribution)
- Law enforcement, if required by applicable law
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting your organization administrator or our support team. Organization administrators can export or delete workspace data at any time.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
